Washington, DC – The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) is extending the deadline from July 10 to July 31 to allow more time for interested parties to provide input on issues facing qualified mortgage borrowers with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) throughout the mortgage life cycle process, including mortgage lending and servicing.
FHFA announced on May 25 that it was requesting input on ways to improve access to credit for qualified mortgage borrowers with limited English proficiency.
Input should be submitted electronically or via mail by July 31, 2017, to the Federal Housing Finance Agency, Office of Housing and Regulatory Policy, 400 7th Street, S.W., 9th floor, Washington, D.C., 20219.
