findCRA Welcomes Angela Byers as Senior Vice President, CRA & Community Strategy Consulting as the Company Continues to Expand Its Consulting Services Nationally

findCRA is pleased to announce the addition of Angela Byers as the Senior Vice President, CRA & Community Strategy Consulting.  In her role, Angela will oversee the company’s continuing expansion of its consulting services to support banks and other entities participating in CRA initiatives and work directly with clients on CRA strategy and program management.

Since 2017, findCRA has offered CRA consulting services, consistently increasing consulting revenue annually to meet demand.  In recent years, CRA regulatory requirements have become increasingly more complex, with expansive changes impacting banks in the near future due to the implementation of the new CRA final rule changes.  Moving into 2025 and beyond, findCRA will continue its commitment to being a full-service partner for bank CRA needs, and the expansion of its CRA consulting capacity is a natural progression in the company’s continued growth.

“As we’ve developed relationships with banks of varying sizes and operational focuses through our powerful CRA software offerings over the years, many of our clients have also sought consulting services from us for other aspects of their CRA programs.  As demand continues to grow, adding the expertise of a seasoned CRA subject matter expert like Angela positions findCRA to meet each request for in-depth CRA consulting assistance throughout the country,” said Ben Loehle, CEO & Co-Founder of findCRA.

Angela is a CRA subject matter expert with additional experience in fair lending and crafting Community Benefits Agreements.  She spent over 20 years working for financial institutions and serving as executive leadership for a nonprofit, during which she fell in love with CRA because it connected her love of banking and community.  In her most recent roles at two of the nation’s largest banks, Angela oversaw CRA and Community Development and was responsible for the strategy, oversight, documentation, and reporting of CRA compliance to internal and external stakeholders.

Angela’s leadership skills were honed through her formal education with Park University’s Public Administration undergrad program and experiential learning with many community-based organizations including Bank On initiatives and Money Smart programs.  Her ferocity and championship branched into leadership roles across the Midwest, including several board leadership positions for nonprofits serving predominately low- and moderate-income people and communities, which aligns with the focus and spirit of the CRA.  Angela is also a founding member of the Indiana CRA Bankers Association and provides advisory expertise for the Kentucky CRA Network.

findCRA offers a full suite of consulting services under the leadership of Brian Waters, President, COO & Co-Founder.  Services include CRA program reviews, community development activities validation and omission testing, peer bank analysis, performance context narratives, performance evaluation, CRA Strategic Plan development, examination preparation and response, CRA staff training, and more.  To schedule a discussion about findCRA’s consulting services, visit www.findcra.com/findcra-cra-consulting-services/.
