findCRA’s President, COO, & Co-Founder, Brian Waters, will participate in a panel discussion with other Fintech and industry leaders at the annual LendIt Fintech conference in New York City next week.
The panel will explore how the Fintech ecosystem has worked to achieve its perceived promise of financial inclusion and the role that the Community Reinvestment Act, including recently proposed regulatory changes, plays in future collaboration. Also joining the panel are Colin Darke, General Counsel of Rocket Loans; Armen Meyer, Head of Public Policy at LendingClub and Co-Founder of the American Fintech Council; and Chris Pilkerton, Chief Legal & Regulatory Strategy Officer at Accion Opportunity Fund and Former General Counsel & Regulatory Policy Officer at the U.S. Small Business Administration. The panel will be moderated by Martin Mitchell, Managing Director of ProBank Austin.
“At findCRA, we work closely in all realms of CRA, partnering with both banks and nonprofits to further the underlying mission of CRA – providing credit and banking services for all communities and promoting economic inclusion. As the CRA regulations are currently adapting to align with the modern reality of consumer banking, including the role Fintech plays in reaching unbanked and underbanked individuals, I look forward to the discussion with the other panelists on ways to collaborate for ongoing success,” said Mr. Waters.
